Creo qué es importante para escribir en español porque estaba estudiando español en la Universidad de Barcelona. No es fácil pero quiero probarlo.

Aprendía mucho sobre la cultura española y el país. En mi tiempo libre iba a la playa y caminaba por la ciudad con mis amigos nuevos. Tomaba el trén a muchos lugares bonitos en España. También fuimos a las discotecas y bares. ¡Divertidísimo!

Mi vida en Barcelona era muy diferente que la en California. En Barcelona, tomaba el metro para ir a la escuela y en California, no hay un metro en mi ciudad entonces uso mi coche. Hay muchísimas turistas y lugares famosos en Barcelona y por eso siempre hay personas en las calles. En España cenamos a las nueve o diez de la noche pero no en los Estados Unidos. También no salimos hasta la medianoche en España.

En mi barrio, Grácia, era mucha gente de España y entonces tenía una experiencia auténtica allí. Había muchos supermercados, cafés, y restaurantes cerca de mi piso.

Disfrutaba mi clase porque me gusta aprender español y conocer los otros estudiantes de los partes diferentes del mundo. Todos los días nosotros hacíamos ejercicios en el libro y hablábamos con las profesoras para practicar español. La clase era fácil para mi pero está bien porque han pasado tres años desde tomé un clase de español.

Me encantaba mi viaje a España. Es una experiencia que voy a recordarme por toda la vida. El viaje me ayudó ser más independiente y segura porque ahora he viajado solo a un país nuevo.

I learned a lot about the Spanish culture and the country. In my free time I went to the beach and walked through the city with my new friends. I took the train to a lot of pretty places in Spain. We also went to the clubs and bars. How fun!

My life in Barcelona was very different than in California. In Barcelona, I took the metro to go to school and in California there isn't a metro in my city so I use my car. There are so many tourists and famous places in Barcelona and because of this there are always people on the streets. In Spain we eat dinner at nine or ten at night but not in the US. Also we don't go out until midnight.

In my neighborhood, Grácia, there were many people from Spain and so I had an authentic experience there. There were many supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants near my apartment.

I enjoyed my class because I like learning Spanish and meeting the other students from different parts of the world. Every day we did exercises in the book and talked with the professors to practice Spanish. The class was easy for me but it's ok because it had been three years since I took a Spanish class.

I loved my trip to Spain. It's an experience that I am going to remember for my whole life. The trip helped me be more independent and confident because now I have traveled alone to a new country.
