Flamenco is a traditional style of Spanish dance. I went to a show with my friend one night and it was super cool.
I had no idea what to expect, but it was a very precise dance, sort of like tap dancing, along with intense clapping and live music. The singers and guitar players were great. The show lasted about an hour long. The theater was small so it was fun being close to the stage even though we didn't buy tickets near the front.

Every move the dancers made was calculated. When they walked off stage after a routine they moved poised and meticulous, contrasting the rapid pace of the performance. The way they could stay on beat while clapping so fast and tapping their feet was unbelievable.
It was a small cast, only two men and two women dancing and then two singers, two guitar players, and one percussionist. The singers had deep voices and could hold notes forever. They helped keep the beat by clapping, too.
One of the dancers had super long, slicked back hair that he whipped around to get it out of his face. I think he had the longest solo routine.
The women took the stage with super long voluminous dresses. I don't know how they didn't trip! Also, look at the guitar players go!
The group routine at the end was probably the most fun to watch.
I'm glad I got to see another part of Spanish culture and tradition in a way that I hadn't experienced before. I love watching live performances of all kinds so this was a really memorable part of the trip for me.

I'm so glad that you have thoroughly enjoyed your trip. There are so many new and exciting for you to experience. I'll be glad for you to get home though!
